I've been caring for pets for over 26 years and volunteering at the Nanaimo BCSPCA for 5. I specialize in fostering cats/kittens needing medical care and socialization. I'm on my 75th foster and it's been the most rewarding work I've ever done. In 2020 I was honored for my foster cat work with Nanaimo BCSPCA's Volunteer Award.
The greatest lesson I've learned from my foster work is to meet an animal where they are, interact with them in the way they are most comfortable (ie with play or treats) and be a calm and consistent presence for them.

MEDICAL CARE
Experience with injections, administering medications, inhalers, tube feeds and bandage changes. Need something specialized? I’m always willing to learn.
